Subject: [DCHAS-L] Fwd: Public Webinars on 2 EPA Proposed Rules

Last Friday, the EPA announced proposed updates to the RCRA regulations with a 60 day period for public comment. The ACS's Committee on Chemical Safety's Safety Advisory Panel is reviewing the changes, particularly as they impact the lab setting, and believes that there are potentially significant impacts on labs in the changes. Specifically, there will a requirement for documentation of all hazardous waste determinations made by a generator. It is likely that this will require expansion of the documentation systems maintained by generators of lab waste.

For this reason, DCHAS members may want to review the rules and attend this webinar to be informed of the potential impacts of these changes.
