The College of Arts and Sciences is currently seeking a Stockroom/Hazardous Waste Manager for the Integrated Sciences. The Integrated Sciences (Laboratory Support) supports the operational, financial, safety and security aspects of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) 50+ laboratories, both research and instructional. With oversight by the Director of CAS Facility Support, the Stockroom Hazardous Material and Waste Manager will be the expert in the area of chemical segregation and storage compatibilities. They will manage responsibility of ordering and distributing all chemicals for CAS. Position will perform annual audits/updates of chemical and SDS inventories for all research and teaching labs. The incumbent will research, recommend and perform end-process detoxification or minimization of hazardous waste streams.

Length of time and type of experience required for this position: Employee must have 2 years' experience within a laboratory setting with specific experience working with hazardous materials including laboratory waste.
