Last week, EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy sat down with women-owned and led companies that manufacture products with EPA's Safer Choice label to discuss ways to promote sustainability and safer chemicals in the market place. These women are leaders in advancing safer chemistry and are recognizing that Safer Choice-labeled products perform well, are good for business, and are safer for homes, schools, and workplaces.

Participants in the women's forum included company presidents, CEOs, VPs, and senior managers from Earth Friendly Products, Grignard Company LLC, Wexford Labs, Inc., Case Medical, JOSELI LLC, Sun Products, Jelmar, LLC, Osprey Biotechnics, and State Industrial Products. This forum was part of the first Safer Choice Summit - an opportunity for Safer Choice partners to come together to share information and best practices.

Learn more about these women and help us spread the word about Safer Choice via social media:

Read and share Administrator's McCarthy's blog - Women Business-Owners Lead the Way with Safer Products.

And, look for Safer Choice-labeled products for your home at retail stores. More than 2,000 products currently qualify to carry the Safer Choice label.
