Demystify:

CHAS needs one person to present a 20 minute of so talk in the Ask Dr. Safety: Chemical Security in research institutions session.  Here is the abstract.

“Chemicals of Interest”, “Select Agents and Toxins”, “dual-use chemicals”, “illicit drug precursors” and “equipment theft” are all phrases related to chemical security.  Ask Dr. Safety is a topic-oriented session devoted to open discussion related to chemical safety.  “Chemical security” is the topic for Philadelphia. How do you address the regulatory requirements under CFATS or Select Agents? Have you had a security breach and how did you handle it and the aftermath?  How do you address misuse and diversion to faculty, students, and staff? These and many more questions will be addressed by leading experts in chemical safety and security.

Please submit an abstract NO LATER THAN 27 MARCH into the ACS MAPS system, CHAS, Ask Dr. Safety

The presenter(s) will get one adult beverage of their choice, sponsored by Harry and me!

Ping me if you have questions

Neal
