Chapman University has an important job opening at our Health Sciences Campus for a Lab Safety Administrator.

The Laboratory Safety Administrator is a key position within the Chapman University Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) office and will oversee laboratory safety and compliance for the Rinker Health Science Campus (RHSC), including research and teaching laboratories. The incumbent will serve as the University Biosafety Officer, and will support the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) as well as the Science Safety Committee and represent EH&S on the Instructional Animal Care and Use Committee. The incumbent will provide technical expertise and support to faculty and administrators seeking grants and funding as relates to compliance and safety. This position is based primarily at the Chapman University Rinker Health Science Campus in Irvine, CA, but the incumbent will also work from the EH&S main office in Orange, CA as needed.
