Unable to make it to the Philly ACS National Meeting?  No worries!  Midwest Chemical Safety will be offering a pair of workshops near Lexington, KY, October 13th and 14th.  The workshops must have a minimum of 5 participants before they are confirmed; DEADLINE FOR CONFIRMATION is COB, SEPTEMBER 10th.

The two day offering, “Effective Chemical Safety Management: A Risk-Based Perspective” and “Research without Rules: Hazard Recognition and Process Safety Management for Research and Small-Scale Chemical Processes” will be presented at the Fairfield Inn, Georgetown/Lexington KY on October 13-14th, 2016.  Registration is OPEN now at www.midwestchemsafety.com/workshop.php . The workshop will be CONFIRMED when we get 5 participants.  Registration “confirmation” deadline (i.e. go/no go) is SEPTEMBER 10th so register ASAP.  (Note, you will not be billed for the workshop until it is CONFIRMED so your money isn’t tied up for a long period of time!)

Workshop updates can be found at our Facebook page:   https://www.facebook.com/midwestchemsafety/  (“Like” to follow) or, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at helston**At_Symbol_Here**midwestchemsafety.com or 217-971-6047.  A description of each of the workshops is on the website page under “Workshops.”

Hope to see you there!

Harry
