Chemical hygiene officer/stockroom manager/instructor.ĺ The Department of Chemistry at the University of Central Arkansas (Conway, AR) invites applications for a permanent 12-month staff position beginning summer 2017.ĺ The successful candidate will have a master‰??s degree or higher in chemistry, the ability to work with a variety of constituencies in the department, across campus, and in the community, and a strong commitment to helping strengthen undergraduate science education by promoting a proactive chemical hygiene plan and teaching some classes as needed.ĺ Instructional responsibilities will depend on department needs and the candidate‰??s qualifications.ĺ Certification as a chemical hygiene officer or else demonstrable progress toward this certification required.ĺ Applications must include: a letter of application, current vitae, teaching philosophy, graduate and undergraduate transcripts, certification documentation, and three letters of reference.ĺ ĺ
