From Wikipedia: IUCLID (International Uniform Chemical Information Database) is a software application to capture, store, maintain and exchange data on intrinsic and hazard properties of chemical substances. Distributed free of charge, the software is especially useful to chemical industry companies and to government authorities. It is the key tool for chemical industry to fulfill data submission obligations under REACH, a European Union law covering the production and use of chemical substances. The software is maintained by the European Chemicals Agency, ECHA. The latest version, version 6, was made available on 29 April 2016.

Dear IUCLID 5 User

The IUCLID 5 website will be shut down permanently from 30th of March 2017 onwards. The relevant content has been transferred to the IUCLID 6 website. Before the closure, IUCLID 5 website users are invited to download any additional information they may need.

Almost ten years after the publication of the IUCLID 5 website, two years since the launch of the IUCLID 6 website, and one year since the release of the new version of IUCLID, it is time to shut down the IUCLID 5 website.

Now that IUCLID 6 is the main supported version, users are invited to transfer to it, if not done so already. Information about the upgrade process is available on the IUCLID 6 website. In some cases, the migration process requires the use of IUCLID 5 tools. Therefore, the relevant documentation and software have been transferred.

As of 30th of March 2017, the IUCLID 5 website will no longer be accessible, and users will be redirected to the IUCLID 6 website. Until that date, you still have a possibility to download a copy of Legal Entities created on the website. This information will not be available on the IUCLID 6 website.

This is the end of the road for only the IUCLID 5 website. The latest information concerning the IUCLID application will now be maintained in a single location, on the IUCLID 6 website. See you there!

- The IUCLID team
