For what it is worth...as a CSB investigator, I just want to express my gratitude for the various CSB stories and supportive sentiments expressed on this listserve and by the ACS as an organization.

When I joined the ACS as a graduate student so many years ago, I really did not know what the role or impact of the ACS was/could be. I have seen great things come from the ACS on the safety front and enjoy the witty repartee and thoughtful insights so many of you provide on this listserve. The membership dues are worth it ;)

Thanks again everyone, have a great weekend.

Sincerely,
Mary Beth Mulcahy

=B7 ACS is working with AIChE on a webinar to be recorded on 4/25 featuring CSB Chair Vanessa Sutherland and representatives from AIChE and ACS speaking about the role of CSB and its important mission in promoting safety in the chemistry enterprise.

=B7 ACS is working on developing a Congressional "Dear Colleague" letter to generate congressional support for CSB FY18 funding.

=B7 CSB will be taking part in the ACS Board of Directors Legislative Summit on April 25 - goal is to foster greater collaboration between CSB and ACS
