You know it's a canned auto-response from ACS Central.  Realistically, no one who is an experienced presenter does that stuff.

 

There's been a bit of a kerfuffle at the Mothership about whether or not to provide laptops and then coerce presenters and organizers to use the provided laptops.  Thankfully, that's died down but the result is the auto-response telling you that you need your own laptop.

 

Bring it on a stick - I'll have my laptop or Neal's laptop or any number of other folks will have a laptop that will happily slurp off your presentation.

 

I still want to see the song and dance - far more interesting, I would think.
