NIOSH Method 7102 is the recognized "gold standard" sampling and analytical method for beryllium.  The NIOSH Manual of Analytical Methods is available online.

* What is the monitoring method used at your institute ? 
* Is monitoring performed  by EHS, or third party or by lab personnel themselves ? 
* If monitoring is performed by lab personnel then do they receive specific training on monitoring methods ?
