The Campus Consortium for Environmental Excellence (C2E2) is pleased to announce its Fourth Campus EHS Technology Workshop for Colleges and Universities. The day-long workshop will be held at the University of Massachusetts ‰?? Amherst Campus on Monday April 23rd, 2018.
The Workshop will serve as a forum for college and university environmental health and safety professionals to learn about innovative solutions for gathering, analyzing, and managing the various and unique information needed for our campuses.
Presentations will be delivered as partnerships between institutions and vendors, with an emphasis on case studies and lessons-learned. Although the agenda is still under final development, we anticipate the following presentations:
‰?¢ Selecting the right EHS software (Wellesley College & HUCO)
‰?¢ EHS information systems as a campus rally point (Mt. Sinai & Safety Stratus)
‰?¢ Documenting and controlling hazardous building materials data (UMASS-Amherst & Verdant)
‰?¢ On-line safety training for higher ed (UMASS-Boston & Vivid)
‰?¢ GIS for campus applications (UMASS-Amherst)
‰?¢ Mobile / remote real-time monitoring instruments (Cornell, Keene State, & Wicked Devices)
‰?¢ Updates and experiences with UNHCEMS ‰?? the granddaddy of college and university chemical inventory systems (UNH & UMASS-Amherst)
‰?¢ Comprehensive EHS compliance software systems (Rockefeller University & Woodard & Curran).
The workshop will include a blend of platform presentations, panel discussions, and vendor demonstrations that will provide abundant opportunities to interact with and learn from peer colleagues and specialized vendors.
Registration for the Workshop is free-of-charge to C2E2 members.
Higher education participants from non-member schools will be charged a fee of $50. Payment must be made in advance, either by credit card or check.
