A quick note to the station elicited a quick response:
Thank you for sending the email regarding our article on the carbon monoxide incident in La Mesa.
I have removed the sentence describing carbon monoxide as not dangerous and replaced it with information from the CDC.
I will also share these changes with the person who wrote the article.
