Thanks to the help and sharp eyes of about 10 members of the Division, Version 1.0 of the powerpoint file which accompanies the laboratory risk assessment video we released in June is now available. You can download it from

at the link below the video.

The intent of this file is to provide the basis for a presentation by an instructor that addresses the ideas quickly mentioned in the video in a more detailed fashion. The file includes a list of selected resources for further instruction as well as quiz questions that might be used to review key parts of the presentation with a class. I'd like to continue to improve these questions, so if you come up with your own questions and would be willing to share the others, please send them along.

My thanks to everyone who commented on earlier versions of the video and the Powerpoint file! I learned a lot from the feedback we received on both.
