This kind of thing comes up in the K-12 world occasionally.  We handle it the same way as if the accommodation was for a medication.  The student leaves the laboratory area (after proper handwashing and removal of PPE) and goes to a designated area (either the nurse's office or cafeteria) and then returns to the lab.  The purpose of accommodations is to allow the worker or student to fully participate in the activity.  Since allowing the student to eat or drink in the laboratory would be hazardous for the student, we provide a suitable place for the student to eat and drink, then rejoin the lab work.
