Thank you Ralph, this is very useful and nicely put together. I can tell a lot of thought went into the development of this information. I had not studied it in detail but just did, and it is very logical and detailed...this is a tremendous contribution to the laboratory and academic community. The Division, in partnership with the Princeton University Department of Environmental Health and Safety, published its first version of a Periodic Table of the Elements of Safety in spring of 2019. We're pleased to provide an updated version in time for the Fall, 2019 ACS national meeting. The updated version expands the "safety martyrs" section to better recognize the history of laboratory safety and also includes tweaks to some of the other elements.
