Subject: [DCHAS-L] ACS Chemical Health and Safety - EIC Update

Hi All,

I’d like to formally announce that Dr. Mary Beth Mulcahy has been selected as the editor-in-chief of ACS Chemical Health and Safety! Submissions are now open and the press release has been posted online here:

https://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/pressroom/newsreleases/2019/september/acs-names-mary-beth-mulcahy-new-editor-in-chief-of-acs-chemical-health-and-safety.html. ACS Publications recently acquired the journal from DCHAS in order to support the ACS mission and core value to promote and strengthen the importance of safety to the global chemistry community. More information about the scope, author guidelines, and editor profile can be found on the journal website: https://pubs.acs.org/journal/achsc5.

If you have any questions, please send them along to me at k_miller2**At_Symbol_Here**acs.org. I am a development editor for ACS Publications and will be assisting Dr. Mulcahy with day-to-day management and strategic planning for the journal. I will also be the liaison to DCHAS so if you have any content suggestions or comments, please feel free to share those as well because we are always open to new ideas. I look forward to working with all of you in the upcoming months.

Best,

Kali A. Miller, Ph.D. (she/her/hers)
