Demystify:
Although our University wifi systems are rather good (AggieAir and AggieGuest) and kept updated... Several professors have taken the trouble to set up their own 'private' wifi in their offices or laboratory. I believe they pay extra for an additional activated
internet connection.

I've been thinking about the same thing. Our cell and wifi coverage is good, but in the case of a slip and fall, one might not be able to reach a phone. Following the discussion!
How many of you work in areas where there is no one else around who
may see you if there is an emergency? Do you have any type of
wearable devices that you can recommend (like Life Alert)? I don't
have staff that work in my stockroom with me at all times, for
example.
