DCHAS members may be interested in this faculty opening at Keene State College:
Safety and Occupational Health Applied Sciences Clinical Faculty

The Department of Safety and Occupational Health Applied Sciences (SOHAS) at Keene State College invites applications for an exciting clinical faculty position in the Safety and Occupational Health Program. We seek a Safety professional who can help us prepare the next generation of safety leaders. Drawing on one‰??s background as an experienced practitioner, a clinical faculty member‰??s primary responsibilities are teaching and service in a full-time (academic, Aug.-May calendar), non-tenure track position. Maintaining professional credentials and staying current in the discipline are required; publication is not. This position is a member of the faculty bargaining unit, whose responsibilities focus on delivery of instruction with applied focus on Construction and/or General Industry Safety, as well as providing service to the department, college, and, as time permits, profession.

The successful candidate will deliver effective and engaging courses to support student understanding, application, assessment and improvement of Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Health Program Management Components and Systems. Candidates with demonstrated knowledge and skills in occupational safety and health, construction safety, toxicology, industrial hygiene, environmental health, risk management, ergonomics, loss control, and injury and illness prevention strategies are particularly desirable. Teaching venues include classroom, field, laboratory, and on-line, for both undergraduate Construction Safety Sciences and SOHAS program degrees. For more information about our department and SOHAS program, please see: http://www.keene.edu/academics/programs/safe/
