We are looking forward to a successful meeting in Philadelphia this March, and this meeting marks the 25th year of the CHAS Workshops Program, which provides both continuing education opportunities and a valuable source of revenue for the CHAS Division. Come a day or two before the meeting, and LEARN! We already have a few registrations, but need more to assure we can present these workshops. Descriptions and registration are available here: http://dchas.org/category/workshops/ .

These workshops require registration of at least six people to be presented.  You will be notified by email prior to the workshop (about March 7, 2020) as to whether the workshop will be presented.

All full day workshops open for check-in at 08:00 and begin at 08:30, promptly. Coffee is available at 0800.  Lunch is not included. The Graduate Student workshop begins at 3:00PM on Sunday.

Please note the cancellation policy:

Upon registration, information will be sent to each participant containing specific seminar location information of the workshop. Companies may substitute registrants without prior notice or penalty. Full refund is available for cancellations up to three (3) weeks prior to the workshop date. 50% refund up to one (1) week prior to seminar. Cancellations made less than seven (7) days prior to seminar start date will be charged, but an 80% credit may be applied toward a future program. No-shows receive no credit and will be billed. In the event that the Division of Chemical Health and Safety is forced to cancel a seminar due to lack of registration or other causes, CHAS will notify participants at least seven (7) days in advance by phone and by email. We will notify you by email as soon as we know that the workshops will be held, ie, we have sufficient registrants to present the workshop. If you do NOT receive a confirmation or cancellation notice, you must contact CHAS promptly to determine the workshop status. CHAS does not suggest non-refundable air fares be used due to the potential of seminar cancellation. CHAS will not be responsible for penalties caused by these types of fares in the event of seminar cancellation.

CHAS is not connected with the CHO certification examination, offered through the National Registry of Certified Chemists.  Please contact Russ Phifer – rphifer**At_Symbol_Here**nrcc6.org to register or with any questions regarding certification.
