We are extending the deadline for early registration for CHAS workshops in Philadelphia to Monday, February 10. Why it went wrong: Blame-free investigation of lab-scale incidents and Safety Leadership in the Chemistry Enterprise each need only ONE more registration to reach “go” status. The How to be a More Effective Chemical Hygiene Officer workshop is already confirmed, but we will gladly accept more registrations.  If you or any of your co-workers would like to attend a workshop, please get your registrations in as soon as possible. A CHAS member has agreed to pay for several registrations if it means the course will go, so please let me or Mary Beth know if the registration fee is the only thing keeping you away!

Please note that registration remains open for Developing Graduate Student Leadership Skills in Laboratory Safety, which is confirmed. At $25, this is a must for all graduate students attending the ACS meeting.
