The story also provides a template of industry's steps to cover up their occupational and environmental booboos and to prevent injured people from getting recompense. And as usual, most of the girls were dead by the time this story ends, they were given a pittance, and those responsible were essentially unscathed and richer than ever. I'm going take a pill and lie down now.

I think most members of the list know this sad chapter of workplace non-safety. It's now coming out as a movie!
"Radium Girls" premiered at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival. Now, Juno Films has acquired the film for distribution. The movie will be rolled out nationally following an April 3 premiere at Quad Cinema in New York."
