TSCA SACC Meeting Minutes and Final Report for December 2019 Meeting on EPA's Draft Risk Evaluation for Methylene Chloride

The meeting minutes and final report for the December 3 to 4, 2019, Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Science Advisory Committee on Chemicals (SACC) face-to-face meeting regarding EPA's draft risk evaluation for Methylene Chloride is now available.

The meeting minutes and final report is available in the docket EPA-HQ-OPPT-2019-0437 at www.regulations.gov. A link to the document is also posted on the TSCA SACC meeting webpage at https://www.epa.gov/tsca-peer-review/peer-review-draft-risk-evaluation-methylene-chloride.

EPA is in the process of reviewing the report and then will determine next steps.

The TSCA SACC serves as a primary scientific peer review mechanism of EPA's Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention and is structured to provide independent scientific advice and recommendations to EPA on the scientific basis for risk assessments, methodologies, and pollution prevention measures and approaches for chemicals regulated under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA).
