During the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important for us all to follow "prudent practices". The Laboratory Safety Institute (LSI) continues to support safety and health in science, education, and industry.

To help, LSI has created a free online "Lab Safety Round Table". We invite all who are interested to download a free copy of Prudent Practices in the Laboratory, 3rd Edition. Read the first two chapters and join us online. The topics are "The Culture of Lab Safety" and "EH&S Management System". Let's get together and discuss them.

Here's the link to the free PDF: https://www.nap.edu/catalog/12654/prudent-practices-in-the-laboratory-handling-and-management-of-chemical

If you do prefer the printed version, you can save 15% by ordering from LSI.

The first session is scheduled for Friday, May 1st at 1PM EST. You can register to attend by clicking on the following link: https://www.labsafety.org/events/lab-safety-roundtable

This registration will automatically provide the login information. For more information, contact Jim Kaufman: jim**At_Symbol_Here**labsafety.org - 508-574-6264

PS. You are welcome to invite any of your students who might be interested/benefit.
