Jeff,
Inspection/Lab audit software is the core of what I'm hoping to learn more about.

I'm mostly hoping to hear about software that people use, like, and have had success with.

I've had some demos of software that seem to fit the need on paper; but, ultimately aren't user friendly or require so much effort to maintain that you practically need an FTE just to manage the software.

Fundamentally, I'm hoping to make a short-list of software options that can do the audit/inspection task well.

Thanks for your response, it's greatly appreciated.

Cheers!
Bill

Bill,

I'm not exactly clear what you are looking for. If you are looking for inspection/lab audit software I can personally recommend Safety Stratus' LabcliQ. I also know there are a lot of very happy Bioraft users out there as well.

Or are you looking for something else? Both companies offer a suite of other modules that might do what you are looking for.

Jeff

Hello Everybody,
Does anybody have good recommendations for commercial products to track hazcom door sign information and/or inspection records?

Based on what I've seen, there seem to be a number of options, but they don't seem like a "good fit" for the needs of my institution.

We're using excel as well as a lot of paper forms, it gets the job done; but, it's much more "clunky" than I would prefer (to put it mildly). At a previous institution, we had an in-house programmer who used to do chemical safety, so I could just use what was already there, and it worked extremely well (I took it for granted). I'm very tempted to learn how to code databases and try to re-create it myself; but, over the years, I've learned to tread-lightly with impulses like that.

If you use and like a program, or have developed a really great way of doing things, I would love to hear about it.

Thank you!
Bill
