EPA - its your right to know

Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) Program

Providing Pollution Prevention and Toxic Chemical Release Information

Updated TRI Data Available

EPA has updated the TRI dataset to include new submissions or revisions received from facilities between November 5, 2019, and April 8, 2020. Revisions may include changes to previously submitted reporting forms for any year.

This is the standard TRI "refresh" EPA conducts around this time every year, and includes data not captured in the 2018 TRI National Analysis.

These online TRI tools have been updated:

  • TRI Homepage Search
  • Envirofacts TRI searches
  • TRI Explorer, including the TRI factsheets
  • TRI Tribal Search
  • TRI Pollution Prevention Search Tool
  • TRI P2 Industry Profile Dashboard
  • The "Basic" data files (the updated "Basic Plus" and Dioxin TEQ files will be available soon)

Note that EPA plans to make the TRI data for 2019 available by the end of July.
