I've argued for years that fogging inside goggles is a part of the body shedding excess heat. The face mask covers (& insulates) one of the few remaining areas of bare skin when the worker is in long pants,  closed shoes, lab coat. It may be time to tweak the AC in the labs?

Critical thinking question for students and teachers:  why are we wearing gloves at this moment? What protection do they offer? What do they add to heat burden?

There are a number of windshield fogging prevention products on the market which may be worth a try.  A thin film of (petroleum product-free) detergent might also work.
Good luck.

Has anyone found a workable solution to the problem with face mask+goggles= fogging in student chemistry labs?

Thanks for your assistance.
