CHAS members

In August I published demographic information based on CHAS membership
profiles. The most significant point was the large number of us who
have not included demographic information in our profiles. While there
are many reasons for not doing this, there are also many reasons such
information is useful. For one, CHAS is trying to understand more
about who we are, as a group, so we can help others consider careers
in chemical safety and EH&S.

At the time, I suggested you update your ACS profile, only to discover
that this was not easy. Now it is. I urge you to follow the link to a
profile update . It takes less than five minutes. You can log in using
your ACS Member ID and either your last name or password.

Please update now. It will take until mid-December for our demographic
report to reflect what you do today. At that time, I will provide an
update on who we are to everyone.
Thank you for participating.

Stay healthy and stay safe!
