Thanks for these questions. The samples are in Carosafe style preservatives used to store animal specimens of various kinds. The tech has had some luck with standard household cleaners, but the odor in the cooler is significant and adding more VOCs to the mix is a bit of a concern. We arenČ??t concerned about disinfecting the materials, as the preservatives fixed the samples.
