Good afternoon,

Job Req # 193092:

https://uwhires.admin.washington.edu/eng/candidates/default.cfm?szCategory=jobprofile&szOrderID=193092&szCandidateID=0&szSearchWords=&szReturnToSearch=1

Under general direction, the successful candidate will help administer and implement UW’s Laboratory Safety Survey Program which includes approximately 4,000 laboratory rooms and about 1,000 research groups.

An effective Laboratory Safety Survey Program is critical to help the University ensure health and safety of personnel, environmental protection, public trust, and compliance with federal, state and location regulations. This program is a comprehensive health and safety audit program in place for University research laboratories where hazardous materials are used. The program includes laboratories at UW Seattle, Tacoma, Bothell, Friday Harbor, Satellite Facilities, and some leased facilities. This position will ensure that the program conforms to institutional and department policies and regulations.

The positions will remain open until filled, so please feel free to share out to any interested applicants.

Thank you!
