Here in Quebec we offer just about the most affordable university education in North America. Annual tuition for locals is $2391,
for the rest of Canada it's $7402 and for international students it starts at $16,373 (roughly $12,600 US). But the mental health status of our student population is no better than at other universities. Our mental health counsellors are fully booked, exam
deferrals for mental health reasons are way up and suicides, well, we don't talk about them�
Students have long been under financial stress and that may indeed be one of the factors leading to depression but what they are experiencing
today runs deeper than that.

Well, then mobilize for free or low cost advanced education. Anyone paying what you need to pay to get an education now who is NOT depressed
doesn't have a good grip on reality.
