Without further information of what is being cleaned, I would start with the Revised ANSI/ASSE Z9.11 - 2016 Laboratory Decommissioning Standard described at
https://webstore.ansi.org/Standards/ASSE/ansiassez9112016

I believe that this document includes a general purpose approach to addressing lab decontamination processes.
