While RTECS is no longer available to the public without a fee (see https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/rtecs/rtecsaccess.html for more information about this), the PubChem data collection available from the National Library of Medicine (see https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/ ) contains a lot of useful information for sanity checking and exploring beyond the information presented on an SDS. Specifically the "Laboratory Chemical Safety Summary (LCSS) Datasheet” view presents the data Pubchem organizes in categories similar to an SDS.
