All,
An Iraqi scientist reached out to me about hazardous waste training. I shared ACS' Foundation on Chemical Safety and Risk Management and a new course, Foundation for Storing, Organizing and Disposing Chemical in Educational Settings, which are based on US regulations.
In talking with the scientist, she would be interested in working with a mentor as her University works to establish their own hazardous waste guidelines. If there is someone on the listserv that might be interested in playing such a role, would you mind reaching out to me and I will introduce you. Or, if you know of good non-US centric resources, would you mind posting them? I will forward them on to the scientist.
Thanks so much,
Mary Beth Mulcahy
