Demystify:

We owe a big "THANKS" to the committee that forged this paper.
Perhaps......a different verb is in order.

We owe a big "THANKS" to the committee that forged this paper. It is outstanding and clearly highlights the needs to address DEIR to promote laboratory safety.  Being published in JACS was a great way to reach many ACS members.  I hope everyone reads this and takes the steps to reduce safety risks from DEIR.

BRAVO to you DEIR Team members.

Thank you for all of the hard work and insight.  We appreciate your efforts.  Bob

After a year and half of work, the efforts of the CCS Task Force, under the vision of Debbie Decker and Anna Dunn, have come to fruition. The first of what we are planning as a series of editorials, "Reducing Risk: Strategies to Advance Laboratory Safety through Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Respect" has been published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society. It is freely available at,

https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/jacs.3c03627

The working members of the CCS Task Force included many CHAS members - including our current Division Chair, Dan Kuespert.

Congratulations to all.
