Cotton butcher coats were the closest I have found for the “ideal” lab coat. Especially liked the pockets being on the inside keeping them out of trouble.

Subject: [Non-DoD Source] [DCHAS-L] "universal" lab coat?

I have a recollection that about 3-4 years ago someone at a national meeting CHAS section presentation there was the description of a (“nearly universal”?) lab coat that would protect against fire, acids/bases, organics, etc.  Can someone point me towards a website that describes this?

Thanks,

Dave
