Renee,
You may have already completed these, but the ACS learning institute has two free on-demand online courses that I found extremely helpful when I was just starting out addressing some legacy issues at our institutions (standards, safety, waste). One is "Foundations
for Storing, Organizing, and Disposing of Chemicals in Educational Settings" and the other is "Foundations of Chemical Safety and Risk Management". Both are completely free, even if you are not an ACS member.

Hello,
I am writing as a high school teacher and I have recently been doing training to become our school's chemical hygiene officer. I have only been at this independent school for 3 years now, but
there are plenty of standards that were lacking, and I finally was able to make progress and move ahead.
I was wondering if you could direct me to any training for teachers about the Laboratory Standard and the Hazard Communication. I'm not quite sure where to find appropriate training as I begin
this new responsibility. We have a few chemistry teachers (and chemistry/biology) who need some training on compatible chemical storage, disposal, etc.
Thank you so much for any help you can provide.
