Along with many other resources (scroll down on that page), the ACS has a free online course, Foundations of Chemical Safety and Risk Management, specifically designed for high school teachers. You do not have to be an ACS member, but you do have to register.

We also have a grant open right now for high school teachers.

Hello, 

I am writing as a high school teacher and I have recently been doing training to become our school's chemical hygiene officer. I have only been at this independent school for 3 years now, but there are plenty of standards that were lacking, and I finally was able to make progress and move ahead.

I was wondering if you could direct me to any training for teachers about the Laboratory Standard and the Hazard Communication. I'm not quite sure where to find appropriate training as I begin this new responsibility. We have a few chemistry teachers (and chemistry/biology) who need some training on compatible chemical storage, disposal, etc.
