Demystify:

Since 1978, The Laboratory Safety Institute has been a pioneer and a great resource in laboratory, a nonprofit educational institution providing safety courses and consulting for chemical laboratories worldwide. I recommend that you take a look, they have some free content that is very practical and paid services that are customizable.

Good Luck!

Hello,

I am writing as a high school teacher and I have recently been doing training to become our school's chemical hygiene officer. I have only been at this independent school for 3 years now, but there are plenty of standards that were lacking, and I finally was able to make progress and move ahead.

I was wondering if you could direct me to any training for teachers about the Laboratory Standard and the Hazard Communication. I'm not quite sure where to find appropriate training as I begin this new responsibility. We have a few chemistry teachers (and chemistry/biology) who need some training on compatible chemical storage, disposal, etc.

Thank you so much for any help you can provide.
