Demystify:

Registration remains open for all five half-day workshops being offered the week of September 16.  The listing includes a new course covering the implications of the new Methylene Chloride Standard for laboratory facilities, which has already been confirmed to be presented. The others need additional registrations. The complete Schedule is below:

“How to Create a Better Lab Safety Program” – Jim Kaufman, Laboratory Safety Institute- Monday September 16

“Why Fume Hoods Go Wrong- And How to Make Them Right” – Victor Neuman, FumeHoodCertified.com  - Tuesday September 17

“Assessing and Updating Laboratory Safety Protocols for Methylene Chloride” – Timothy Barton, Laboratory Safety Institute – Wednesday September 18

“Laboratory Waste Management” – Russ Phifer, WC Environmental, LLC – Thursday September 19

“How to be a More Effective Chemical Hygiene Officer” – Russ Phifer, WC Environmental and Jim Kaufman, Laboratory Safety Institute – Friday September 20

All workshops will run from 1PM ET – 5PM ET.  The cost for each course is a modest $210.00.  A gentle reminder that workshops are an important revenue source for the Division, and that everyone can benefit from continuing education!
