Guidelines for Laboratory Design: Health and Safety Considerations Program
Dear Colleagues,
You may be interested in a continuing education
program Janet Baum and I co-direct
at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health for the past 35 years:
Guidelines for
Laboratory Design: Health and Safety Considerations.
The next session takes place June 9-13, 2025, in Boston, MA. This hands-on course addresses the needs of diverse stakeholders to ensure laboratories are safe, hazard-free, ergonomically sound, and environmentally
friendly. Guided laboratory tours are included, enabling you to apply what you learn directly to your organization’s facilities and projects. This provides an opportunity for architects, engineers, EHs professionals and laboratory managers to interact with
each other and share perspectives on designing safe and efficient laboratories in a friendly environment.
As this course has limited capacity, it tends
to fill up quickly. I recommend early registration. For more details, please visit the
Harvard Chan website
or contact Kristen Scott with any questions at kescott**At_Symbol_Here**hsph.harvard.edu.
Best regards,
