From another listserv (I wear multiple hats) I was made aware of this opportunity--not everything relates to lab functioning/lab safety, but for the price and the in-depth treatment of fume hood operation, it looks quite good even if only a few of the talks are of interest. Feb 13-14 are reserved for an in-person only OSHA 10 hour training course...
K-State EHS is putting on a virtual and in-person “Research Safety Bootcamp” February 10-14 that is available for one academic hour credit or up to 15 continuing education credits through Kansas State University*. There will a comprehensive fume hood course presented by Labconco, lectures on export control, mechanisms of human error, science communication and other general safety topics.
