Good Afternoon,
We are currently in the process of disposing of some archived materials that were left behind from academic labs, such as bibulous paper. If certain chemical stains were used (i.e. crystal violet, safranin, malachite green), what is the best way this should be handled with regards to disposal? I would imagine these should be treated as solid chemical waste; however, I wanted to see how other institutions typically handle this.
