I assume many of you are aware I maintain the most comprehensive site for information on 29 CFR 1910.1200, the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, with over 800 pages of info that includes an FAQ, compliance materials, annotated + enhanced versions of every OSHA interpretation on the standard, a hyperglosssary, and the Safety Demystifier among other components. If you’ve been on my HazCom site before, you know that it leverages the power of hypertext to not only improve the readability, but to vastly improve understanding and comprehension. Virtually every reference to an outside site, a specific paragraph of any standard, or technical term is linked for instant comprehension.

The OSHA version of this at https://www.osha.gov/sites/default/files/enforcement/directives/CPL-02-02-079_0.pdf is a mind-numbing 132 pages of mostly plain text with some minimal hyperlinks. If you want to get an idea of just how useful our version is in comparison, I suggest looking at a selected passage in both versions.
