The University of Memphis is currently seeking candidates for the
position of Laboratory Safety Specialist. This is an
administrative/professional position with benefits that include 37.5
hour work week, free tuition, choice of retirement plans, 401K,
twenty-four paid vacation days per year, plus holidays. The job

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelors degree in a natural science
or related discipline, plus at least two years laboratory safety
experience. Successful candidate must be able to wear a respirator,
walk and stand for extended periods of time, climb ladders, lift up to
45 pounds, and pass a background check.
