Your comment about being the only chemist in an industrial setting and
thereby the de facto chemical safety "expert" rings true. This is exactly
what happened to me in my earlier years to the point of becoming the
Facility Emergency Response Team Captain.

So to Gary, I'd encourage you to pursue including a Lab Safety Course in you
curriculum. Please contact me directly if you have any additional questions.
