The CHO will coordinate with other department chairs as necessary to carry out duties. Responsible for day to day supervision of the Chemical Hygiene Plan and act as liaison from the science departments with Physical Plant and Risk Management. The CHO will investigate accidents and chemical exposures and is a member of the College Safety Committee. This is a temporary, two-year, full-time position. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum BA or BS with Chemistry major or minor. Three to five years hands-on laboratory experience. Accurate attention to detail and ability to stick to a project until fully completed and in full compliance.
