Hi all - sorry for the re-post, but I wanted to encourage all those
considering the CHAS workshops at the 2005 WRM to enroll on-line ASAP at
http://www.wrm2006.org/.  If we do not meet minimum enrollment, some may be
cancelled.

As a reminder, those workshops are:

 - How to be an Effective Chemical Hygiene Officer and Laboratory Safety
Institute Lab Safety Seminar on Saturday, January 21 and 

 - Laboratory Waste Management and Fume Hoods and Laboratory Ventilation for
Research Professionals Sunday on January 22.

Hi all,

Just a quick reminder that Chemical Health and Safety Division (CHAS) of the
American Chemical Society (ACS) is sponsoring a full day symposium titled
"Current Topics in Laboratory Health: Focus on Emerging Issues in
Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals and Nanotechnology" on January 25, 2006 at
the ACS Western Regional meeting.  This is a big meeting; there are many
very interesting symposia (in addition to ours).  Complete information on
technical program, registration, etc is at http://www.wrm2006.org/.

Please note we will also offer 4 workshops (The cost is $325 each and you
may sign up for these workshops when you register for the meeting.

If you are interested in technical session or workshops, advanced
registration closes Monday, January 9, 2006.
