Demystify: 
Thanks to everyone who responded to my inquiry about LPS toxicity.  
Based on the responses, it is much clearer to me that it should be  
handled as a toxic chemical, particularly due to its ability to  
activate an inflammatory response in mammals, including fever  
(pyrogenesis).
