The Catholic University of America to Host Regional EH&S Seminar

Please mark your calendar and plan to attend the upcoming CSHEMA-PRIZIM
Regional Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Seminar at The Catholic
University of America (CUA) in Washington, D.C. on June 1 and 2, 2006.

This seminar is designed for anyone with an interest in campus and
laboratory health and safety, environmental compliance, or emergency
preparedness issues. People from educational institutions or
laboratory-based organizations - either small or large -- will benefit from
attending.

The seminar will be held at Caldwell Hall at CUA, located in Washington,
D.C. and easily accessible from Washington Reagan National Airport. CUA is
conveniently located on the Brookland-CUA stop of the Metro Red Line. The
program will include a day-long conference on a variety of contemporary
topics presented by invited speakers, and followed by a half-day focused
workshop on fire safety management. You can choose to attend the one-day
session, the half-day workshop, or both.

The overall theme of the seminar will be strategies for containing new
threats and building on new opportunities. A featured presentation will be
how to respond to the emerging threat of pandemic flu, by Peter Reinhardt,
Director, Environment, Health and Safety at University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill. There will also be a unique panel discussion focusing on the
conversation among representatives EH&S, Facilities Management, and academia
around sustainability issues at the University of Maryland. Additional
topics will include:

* Living with CBRN - Retooling Emergency Management to Terrorist
Threats

* Vulnerability Assessments for Campus Buildings

* Fire Safety Management - On and Off Campus

* Update on Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures (SPCC)
Plans and the new rule for management of academic laboratory wastes

The half-day workshop will address emerging fire safety issues, including
off-campus fire safety, and the essential elements of a robust fire safety
management program.

To view the agenda and workshop descriptions, obtain travel details, and to
register, visit www.prizim-inc.com/Local/Local.htm, complete the
registration form, and mail or fax it to 301-840-0139, or call Ms. Dana
